Our Story

Forza Restaurant Group was founded by restaurateur Carlos Amaya, whose acclaimed restaurant Coppi’s Organic thrived on Washington, D.C.’s historic U Street for more than two decades. Inspired by his commitment to sustainable dining and innovative concept creation, Carlos established Forza to bring fresh, chef-driven restaurant experiences to the DMV area. At the core of this mission is a dedication to sourcing exceptional ingredients from both local and international purveyors, crafting menus that emphasize health, flavor, and authenticity.

To bring each concept to life, Forza has assembled a collective of seasoned professionals, including chefs, restaurateurs, CPAs, interior designers, architects, leasing consultants, sommeliers, and mixologists who collaborate to design and build fully operational establishments from the ground up. Drawing on decades of experience and strong partnerships with farmers, artisans, and skilled tradespeople, the group ensures every project reflects the highest standards of creativity, craftsmanship, and care.
